Humanoid Kirby

"The star of the show" finally has a human form! I've kinda been ignoring Kirby since I got into his fandom; he got a cameo in "Meta Claus" but that was about it. I need to give the pink puffball some more love!
 
Anyway, this was the first in a series of tougher anthropomorphisms. I mean, Kirby's mostly just a pink ball with a face; I had to stretch my creative muscles a bit more for this one. I always knew I wanted his hairstyle to make his head look like normal Kirby with his arms raised (he looked a little bald, though, so I added some bangs). And when I thought about his outfit, I knew right away I wanted overalls. Despite that, it was still a bit of a struggle...

Color 1: When designing this new Kirby, I tried to keep 3 aims in mind: Kirby is cute, Kirby is somewhat gender neutral, and Kirby is youthful, almost infantile. I think I managed to hit all three, and I hope you think so, too~

Color 2: It's Sword Kirby! I decided to give some examples of what his Copy Abilities would make him look like. Notice the Triforce symbols on his overall clips~. Everyone knows Sword Kirby is a nod to LoZ.

Color 3: It's Fighter Kirby! It was really hard to come up with a pose that looked both Kirby-childish and like an actual kick from a human being. Kirby's lack of limbs can be frustrating sometimes...

Sketch 1 and 2: Kirby has to inhale stuff! So I also needed to show what that would look like. Although this Kirby has a torso (and thus, a stomach), his head still does all the work~.

Sketch 3: Freebie sketch. I had no idea what to draw there, so have a watermelon, Kirby!
