Don't take this the wrong way (as in, I'm not abandoning my current artistic life), but I think I'm more of an ideas-man than a physical content creator. My favorite things to do are writing and character design; the actual work of drawing a comic is more of a necessity than a pleasure. If I had someone to do it for me (and if I were a little less of a control freak) I'd gladly give that task away.
I've considered hiring myself out as a writer in the past, and in the professional world, that's really what I'd want to be doing. Maybe I'll try it sometime...but in the meantime, I'm open to collaboration. If you've always wanted to be a comic artist, think you have the chops to work on one of the many projects that I've come up with, and don't mind wasting a few years of your life communicating with me, then totally hit me up~.
Or if you have a story of your own that you just can't get to work, I offer my services as a consultant, free of charge~.
The thing I worry about most is helping someone craft a story, sending them on their merry way, and then finding out that they've discarded it a few months later. I don't blame anyone for doing that (I feel like it's understandable, even though I myself am not really capable of just "letting go"), it just makes me sad to think about it...although, it's probably a feeling I'm gonna need to get used to in this biz, so bring it. XD

DokiDays #109: The Magical Girl Issue
I'm pretty much only using these journals for reviews at this point...for more random discourse, see my Tapas Forum and Twitter accounts~
Magia Record
Like many people who knew of the game and watched the anime (not the majority, but definitely a significant number)...I was very disappointed. The writers took a story that was shaky but had a lot of potential and ran with it in the opposite direction, making it worse instead of better.
I don't mind all the changes they made; that's not the problem. I fully expected the anime to branch out and do its own thing with the major events, if only to make them fit into 13 episodes. The problem is t
DokiDays #108: Reviews galooooooore
Have I been watching a lot of stuff lately...? I guess I have...it doesn't feel that way, because I haven't actually liked most of it. ^^' Things like RWBY and StarTwinkle only got me invested at certain points; I wasn't really looking forward to each episode. But you never find anything you like until you put the time in to explore...so, here's what I've been exploring. I'm going to be both concluding reviews I started earlier, and beginning new ones~.
Symphogear XV
All in all, I enjoyed the season very much: it's my second favorite, after S1, of course. ^^ I didn't like how ridiculously inconsequential Noble Red turned out to be, after al
DokiDays #107: [CLOSED] ART REQUESTS- PRECURE OCS!
I really shouldn't do this I mean I REALLY REALLY shouldn't do this but I've wanted to do it for months, and...ugh, I have to at least try it out. ^^;
So like most people I make fun of anime OCs all the time but I actually really love them? Like, it's just so cool to see people making their own creative variations of established character concepts.
And there is no subset I am weaker to than Pretty Cure fan characters. The idea doesn't even have to be that good; the Cures don't even have to be drawn well, but I just melt... I guess maybe my imagination takes over where the creator's description leaves off, and before I know it I've mad
DokiDays #106: The 2nd very late anime issue
I guess when I said 'next week', I really meant 'next month'. ^^' Hi again, y'all! Time for some rants~. I actually have FOUR anime to talk about today!
Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman F
AKA Gatchaman Fighter!! I started watching it near the end of the summer semester, and now that I have finished it, I am officially done with the entire 1970's original series.
...Dammit, I think it's good. Sure, it's repetitive, the animation leaves a lot to be desired, all the characters are predictable and kind of flat...but dammit, I think it's good! I've watched over 200 episodes worth of the stuff, so there has to be something about it I liked.
I guess i
